What Am I Thankful For As A REALTOR®

Any time you enter a new career or major change in your life, it can be a scary experience.  However, I have managed to find a group of colleagues at I Think Realty that treat me like family.  We are a great team with the same goals and expectations for how we want to treat our clients and what kind of experience we want our clients to experience when working with us to help them buy or sell their home.  For most people, buying or selling a home is the most important financial decision they will make and everyone at I Think Realty understands how important it is to put our clients first in this process.  We are always asking ourselves how we can make the process better and what more value can we add to the experience for each of our clients, whether they are looking at purchasing or selling a $50,000.00 home or a $million dollar home or even helping someone find a rental in a tough rental market.  I am also thankful for a wonderful broker that pushes us to continue to ask ourselves these questions while also training us and sharing with us his vast experience.  To work with someone that truly has our success in mind is refreshing.

Finally, I am thankful for all of my clients this year who have trusted me with this very important aspect of their lives, I don't take it likely at all.  I am appreciative of that trust as well as the loyalty you have shown me.  In real estate, no matter how much the best agents try to make the process as smooth and stress-free as possible, there are always challenges that come up.  Thanks for staying loyal to me as we negotiated those challenges and got to a successful closing.  I consider the people I have been able to help on this journey as part of my extended family.  There is nothing quite like the feeling of helping someone realize their goals.  As I take this time to reflect on this last year in particular, I am excited to think about what the next year will bring.  If I have learned anything over the last couple of years, it is to remain positive and open to what opportunities present themselves.  When life gives you lemons, make lemonade.  As I continue to learn more and more about real estate and become a better REALTOR, I am excited to see who I get the opportunity to meet and ultimately assist in the home buying or selling journey.

For those of you out there, thinking of hiring an agent to help you buy or sell your home or to start investing in real estate, my best advice to you is to focus on finding an agent that will always keep your best interest in mind, which agent as the best support system around them and access to that support system and who is going to treat you like family.  Whatever you decide, I wish you luck in your home buying or selling process and if I can be of any assistance to you or your friends or family, please reach out.  Thanks again and Happy Thanksgiving!
